Warren class Battleship

This is the Warren class battleship of the Rowanese Federal Navy. The class was ordered in 1939 as part of the 1939 Naval Expansion program. This is in direct response to the Japanese aggression in China and Germany's expansion. Eight ships were ordered however only five were built, Warren, Stanford, Wellington, Rutherford, Peterson, and Bernitz. The first of these ships, Warren was laid down in 1938 and by April 1942 was commissioned into the Rowanese Federal Navy alongside her sister Stanford. The Warren class battleships saw service through the Pacific Theater of World War 2 and were still in commission to take part in the Korean War. They were put into reserve in 1955 but were recalled to support UN forces in the Vietnam War. They were then put into reserve once more but they were recalled in 1991 to support the First Gulf War. Now they are put into semi-active reserve as museum ships.
